Meet Our Founder
Kevin Shufelt, Founder & CEO
Kevin Shufelt created, owned, and operated 2 floating barge restaurants in Albany NY and Watervliet NY for a combined 23 years. He handled all aspects of the business. Business plan creation, working with federal, state & local governments, and negotiating with banks & investors. He also ran day-to-day operations and programmed the restaurants for continued success.
Shufelt created YorPub Rentals in 2017 in upstate NY. He designed and built the mobile bars. He grew the business in upstate NY and expanded to the Philadelphia area. He also created YorPub Catering working with YorPub Rentals. He created a catering/bar service team known for great customer service and is highly recommended by venues to their customers.
Meet Our Executive Board
Joe McCrudden, Board Member
Joe McCrudden has extensive experience in the hospitality business, from business development/startup to day-to-day operations. Joe was part owner of one of the two floating barges in the Albany, NY area with Kevin Shufelt. He is one of the advisors for the YorPub as the brand expands through franchising.
McCrudden is also an owner with Shannon Consultants, a company that represents over 40 vendors from around the world marketing to the resort and gift industry. He is responsible for managing the company’s Amazon Resellers.
Larry Davis, Board Member
Larry Davis has served as an advisor to Mr. Shufelt in the formation and development of YorPub. He will also be the largest investor in the new entity. He has over 45 years of experience in the Hospitality industry. He has founded over 20 Companies including CommSoft and Tech Valley Communications. He is currently involved in the ownership and management of 5 restaurants and bars.
Davis has a B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany. His professional experience touches many facets of the telecommunications, computer, and service industries. He has acted as a business consultant and investor in various telecommunication, hi-tech companies, and hospitality companies. He sits on many Boards both public and not-for-profit.
